Challenge:

The world’s largest developer of vendor-neutral certification examinations for the IT industry needed to redesign the graphics and streamline the print and delivery process for its welcome kits, new and renewing member certificates, and training certification documents. Each item had to be customized specifically for the recipient. Furthermore, the association wanted to be able to track the production, assembly and delivery of the materials throughout the world — something it had been unable to achieve with in-house efforts.

Solution:

The association turned to Kelmscott Communications’ team of experts to meet its needs. Kelmscott first redesigned the association’s welcome kits and collateral print materials. Then Kelmscott’s web-solution developers created an online fulfillment program that produces the personalized materials from a constantly updated database containing the relevant member information. The program fulfills orders within an agreed-upon time frame and allows the association to track the entire process, as well as receive detailed information on unit cost.

Results:

The association’s members are now welcomed into the organization and recognized for their achievements with 1:1 personalized materials delivered in a customized folder. The items are delivered in a timely manner, and the association is able to track delivery and item costs through ongoing reports that allow it to determine the ROI for this important program.
