Going Green
The impact of printed material on the environment is a concern to Kelmscott. In January, 2008, Kelmscott Communications completed the forest stewardship council (FSC) chain-of-custody certification, making us the first FSC-certified printer in Kane County.
FSC is widely recognized as having the highest standards for forest management of any certification system in the world. All pulp for FSC-certified paper is rendered from trees grown in FSC managed forests or recycled from papers meeting their high standards.
The FSC trademark provides international recognition for organizations that support the growth of responsible forest management worldwide.
