Aurora, IL – April 14, 2008 – Kelmscott Communications of Aurora, IL received several awards and commendations, including one of the competition’s highest awards, at the 2008 Pinnacle Print Awards. The Pinnacle Print Awards are a statewide printing competition hosted by the Printing Industry of Illinois and Indiana. The Awards recognize those companies that have combined superb craftsmanship and technology in the creation, design and production of top-quality printed materials.
Competing against nearly 400 entries from 43 printers, Kelmscott captured Best of Division (small brochures, four or more colors) for a Haven spa brochure and Best of Category (newsletters, four or more colors) for the Midwest Heart newsletter. Best of Division is the highest award given to any entry, while Best of Category is awarded to three printers in each division based on size. The Haven brochure was a five color piece, channel scored, and gate folded with a precise cross-over of a face on the inside of the brochure.
In addition to the Best of Division and Best of Category awards, Kelmscott received five Awards of Excellence and two Certificates of Merit, including two awards in the category of Environmentally Sound Materials. “Our team works hard every day to produce high-quality materials and provide outstanding customer service.
